SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA will be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it can be alarmed in regards to the high variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be read more due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office focused on service the area daily. The service place made for intervention activities a substantial influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for that office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to empower the servicing of all buyers and boost access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
